ADVENTURES IN GRATITUDE- 03

Midnight came and went and I haven’t been to sleep yet, so for my sake, it’s still Thursday. This because, as everyone knows, the day doesn’t actually end until you’ve slept. So then...

Previously, I told you about Paris. Today I got to meet “Ray”!

Ray, a service dog at Community Hospital Anderson

Rainier is a two-year-old Labrador Retriever who works weekdays as a therapy dog at Community Hospital Anderson. Along with his handler, Cheryl, and her amazing team, they had that place hopping!

I didn’t get a lot of time with Ray—he WAS working, after all—but what little time we had was restorative for me. As per standard operating procedure, he got to know my dogs on a first-smell basis, right off the bat. Then I scruffed his fluff a little, here and there. We looked each other in the eye a couple of times. Hell, we even worked together! He was GREAT on camera!

I have so many things to be grateful for.

Some are enormous. Some are made of mist.

All are sacred.

What are some things you can be grateful for right now? Please share in the comments!
